Apiary Cake and Coffee House

Apiary Cake and Coffee House

If you have a passion for great coffee, fresh from the oven pastries and cakes, and the buzz of cafĂ© culture, drop in and immerse yourself in the great atmosphere and smells of fresh coffee and baking. The finely crafted coffee  comes from Paddy & Scott’s, local masters in the art of slow-roasting. Melt-in-the-mouth cakes, scones, pastries and breads come hot from the cafe’s ovens every day.

The new Apiary Delicatessen stocks a great range of cheese and fine food, and more of the region's best produce are being introduced from the wealth of farmers, growers and cooks based within a few miles of Harleston.

The Broken Egg

The Broken Egg

The Broken Egg cafe, based in Hill Farm, is a short walk from Harleston, with foot paths from the town centre, providing breakfasts, light bites, lunches, desserts, cakes, afternoon teas and a roast lunch every Sunday. The menu is influenced by produce from the farm, and the availability of seasonal local ingredients. Food provenance is central, not only sourcing beef, lamb and free range eggs from the farm but working with other local farmers, local villagers and food producers too. Browse Hill Farms meats and free range eggs, get frosty with Danns Ice Cream; cast a spell over the Wizard Wands and peruse the local wines and ales.

Billy and Daisy, the resident pygmy goats, are a big attraction. They have a play area just outside the cafe, and love meeting people - they will often perform on their see-saw for you!
