J.D. Young Hotel

The J.D. Young Hotel is a 15th century Coaching Inn, formerly known as the Magpie Hotel. Wortwell Hall Barn

An idyllic 18th Century Grade 11 Listed building, two miles from Harleston, and centrally located for most of Norfolk’s attractions, including the famous Norfolk Broads.

The barn itself dates back to the early 1700s and still retains all the features of the original barn, including a thatch roof and traditional Norfolk barn architecture creating a chocolate box image. The barn was converted just five years ago, to an impeccable standard.

The barn is set in approximately one acre of its own grounds and overlooks rolling countryside, with good fishing nearby and a secluded garden. Dog friendly.

Little Lakeland Caravan Park


The site is open all year round. The park offers an abundance of wildlife,a well stocked private fishing lake, together with on site Park Managers. Many generous sized individual hedged Touring and Seasonal Pitches available, all with electric hook up.Small well stocked site shop, children's play area.

There is a pub in Wortwell, a five minute walk from park and also in the neighbouring village of Homersfield. Both pubs serve good quality food and are dog friendly.
