Mayflower: Day Trip to London: POSTPONED
Time & Location
About the Event
It was in London that the majority of the passengers boarded the Mayflower, it was home to the master and his crew, and where the money was raise for the journey. The significance of London is often overlooked as the shrines have grown up around the home towns of the religious separatists. But we should consider that around 65 of the 102 passengers boarded the Mayflower in London, and that the religious contingent which made there way from Leiden in Holland numbered only 37.
Join us for a day trip to London to see the Mayflower sites. London Blue Badge and Mayflower Guide, Chris Green will guide us around the City of London and Southbank to see some of the buildings and places which played a significant part in the Mayflower story. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine a trip to London and find out more about the Mayflower and London history.
This London day trip is only £25, which is remarkable value. The guided walks alone are normally £30. It is difficult to get a return journey to London for £25. We have the entire package for only £25.
