Mayflower Lecture: A Family from Harleston, The Fullers
Time and Location
About The Event
The Fullers, a family who worked and lived in Harleston. They worshipped, along with the rest of the local population, at St Mary’s Redenhall. Church attendance was a requirement and most of the Fullers were keen church people. Some even became Church Wardens. However, it seems that this did not apply to the whole family as a group of them decided to join the Separatists who wanted to emigrate and settle in the New World. It was a hopeless mission for some – a great success for others. Come and hear Margaret Griffiths, museum curator and local historian tell us a little piece of their story.
Tickets £5 per person (£4 concessions) and can be reserved at firstname.lastname@example.org (pre-booking recommended) - or can be purchased at the door.
