Sung by Dame Vera Lynn and West End Stars

The legendary Dame Vera Lynn will convey her personal message of love and best wishes to the theatre industry in an exclusive new rendition of ‘We’ll Meet Again’, sung by socially-distanced West End stars


The video will include more than a handful of familiar faces, including: Alfie Boe, Sharon D Clarke, Louise Dearman, Kerry Ellis, Maria Friedman, Cassidy Janson, Hannah Waddingham and Michael Xavier. Classical Brit Award winning vocal group Blake, which has previously performed “We’ll Meet Again” with Dame Vera, also join the line-up, alongside writer and broadcaster Gyles Brandreth and comedian and actor Joe Pasquale. The stars are joined by a fifteen-strong choir provided by Capital Voices. We’ll Meet Again stars Alfie Boe, BLAKE, Gyles Brandreth, Sharon D. Clarke, Jonah Collier, Bill Deamer, Louise Dearman, Kerry Ellis, Shaun Escoffery, Ferris & Milnes, Maria Friedman, Bradley Jaden, Cassidy Janson, Joe Pasquale, Hannah Waddingham, Layton Williams and Michael Xavier.

The audio montage and music video for ‘We’ll Meet Again’ is produced by Dominic Ferris, with visual sequences directed by Martin Milnes – both of whom you may recognise as West End LIVE regulars, Ferris and Milnes. The collaborative effort amongst West End artistes has been championed by producer Anthony Cherry, who rallied his Friday Night Is Music Night team to the morale-boosting cause.


The sixteen-strong choir provided by Capital Voices, features John Addison, Katie Birtill, Mary Carewe, David Combes, Yona Dunsford, Lance Ellington, Kate Graham, Matt Little, CJ Neale, Andrew Playfoot, Lucy Potterton, Annie Skates (who also created vocal arrangements), Patrick Smyth, James Spilling, Laura Tebbutt and Stephen Weller. With visual direction by Tom Large, We’ll Meet Again was developed with The Stay Inn, an online digital entertainment space hosting theatre, comedy and live stream concerts.
