If you haven't done so already, please get prepared to welcome back our Harleston swifts, who faithfully return each year at the beginning of May - last year on the 12th (a bit later than usual), in 2018 on the 7th May. Just check over the boxes (if you can reach them) to make sure that they are still sound and well fixed. You may find that sparrows have used the box, in which case it is best to remove all the nesting material before the swifts arrive.
Connect up your camera cabling and check it is working.
Then sit back and wait for the birds to arrive!
I have one box with a camera that has now had two families of three in the past two years! Here's hoping that I get the treble this year!
