Your Town Council have been helping implement the plans of SNC to reopen our town across the district. The aim is to help ensure that Harleston and other towns can trade safely and effectively again from the government’s set date of June 15.
You will notice some changes to roads and footpaths and some new attractive street furniture as we aim to make the town centre safer for shoppers, and the wider community. There will be some people from our Harleston's Kindness Help Hub and marshalls from SNC available on the ground, to help everyone understand how it all works. They will be easily identified from their colourful T shirts.
There may be some teething problems, but these temporary measures will hopefully help people feel more safe out and about town. Please bear with us as we work to help open our businesses and provide a safe environment in which to walk and shop.
Residents within the impacted area, don't worry, access is also still available for you.
