    Scribbly said ‘The girls in a canoe were the first characters to come to life on Harley’s sizeable rump!

    As a teenager I spent many summer afternoons canoeing on the Waveney with friends, coming eye to eye with swans, grazing cows and all kinds of other wildlife along the riverbank. The blue haired girl wears a red crown- a symbol that can be spotted in many of my artworks and one that, to me, represents childhood and imagination among other things.’
