Sparkling Saturdays Competition Results
A big thank you to everyone that helped to bring a bit of festive cheer to Harleston at Christmas. Special thanks go to the East of England Coop; Janet Peachy, Peachy Preserves; Danny and his team at JD Youngs and Ken from The Harleston Cider Company.
The winner of the “Let it Snow” themed shop window competition, judged by Harleston Radio’s Dave Hoffman, was Mrs Clarke’s General Store. This was a beautiful and imaginative window display, completed with a letter from Santa. The two runners up were “Bargain Bathrooms” and “Coopers” both showed real ingenuity and originality in turning everyday items into their themed windows.
The “Snow Trail” competition was won by Henry Vigrass-Bobby, see the picture of Henry receiving his prize.
For those of you who are still trying to work it out the song was “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” and the snow balls were on display in the following shops:-
